MC Chopped began as the kind of middle-aged dad teenagers describe as “chopped”: straw Stetson, black T-shirt, jeans, white shoes, questionable slang, and no measurable fear of embarrassment.

Instead of rejecting the insult, he put it on a hat and made it his name.

Then came the abduction.

One song claims the aliens probed his brain, rewired his rhymes, realigned his rhythm, and injected interstellar idioms into his system. Whether that account is complete—or even reliable—remains one of the central mysteries of the character.

Back on Earth, the cringe dad returned louder and stranger. In space, he wears a navy flight suit with the same black shirt and straw Stetson, pilots the Void Runner, and treats a Galactic Federation bounty like a scheduling conflict.
